Last Friday night there was a collective gulp across the "American Invention Community" when Jay Leno said these magic words, "Folks, it's now time for Pitch to America ..."
8 minutes and 31 seconds later, hundreds of inventors, who'd done their best to get some time in the spotlight, knew the results of their dreams; and while being one of the fortunate six is an unquestionable distinction, there is only honor and respect owed to all who strove, for their unseen efforts inspire and pave the way for us all.
And while there is no doubt about the benefits from being allowed to pitch to America, some comfort must be taken by those un-lampooned as great humor can hurt like a mother when delivered; no matter how welcomed and sought, grains of truth can sting and values masked by "SOLD OR NOT SOLD"!
While we did the InventBay Expo in Las Vegas, I'm sure the Yankee Expo had the same kinds of folks who'd love to hear from you; the life of an inventor is not easy and so crumbs of kindness and support go a long ways!
