Fail in 2014

"If you're not failing, then you are not trying hard enough!"

I am not saying you need to fail to win, but rather that to win you have to fail.

If all you do is succeed, then you are not doing the things that you need to do to grow beyond your current situation; you do not gain new skills, new courage, or new horizons without first venturing outside of your existing environment.

To grow we have to imagine and try ... and whenever we try what we imagine, we will have some failures; whether it comes from a failure of imagination, or a stumble as we take actions to bring our dreams to life.  It is how children learn to walk, lovers kiss, and businesses gain new markets.

So as we begin a new year, I am looking forward to failing (and climbing right back up to try again).
